On April 5, 2010 there will be 300 years since the moment of approval of the first Ukrainian Constitution – “Pacts and Constitutions of Rights and Freedoms of the Zaporizhian Host made between the most illustrious master Pylyp Orlyk, newly elected hetman of the Zaporizhian Host, and the General Cossack leaders, colonels and Zaporizhian Host itself, approved by both parties and confirmed by solemn swear of the august hetman at free elections”.
To commemorate this event we made a collection of materials dedicated to the hetman Pylyp Orlyk, spiritual heir of Ivan Mazepa, and to the Constitution itself. The attention paid also to Mazepyntsy (supporters of Mazepa), who found themselves in emigration, sincerely and devotedly presented the Ukrainian idea to the sovereigns of the European countries.
